Arvada Police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a burglary and motor vehicle theft at the APEX Recreation Center last week.

Police were dispatched to the recreation center about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 4, to investigate a vehicle theft.

Someone took the victim’s wallet and car keys from a locked locker in the men’s locker room between 6 and 8 p.m., and drove off with the vehicle.

The suspect, who was caught on videotape, looks like a suspect in a similar robbery at a Golden recreation center, Arvada police said.

He is about 5-foot, 10-inches tall, has a short beard, wears glasses and has a distinct gait.

Anyone with information is asked to call 720-898-6746.
