The Broncos shuffled their tight end corps, on Tuesday and re-signing Dan Light to the practice squad Wednesday.

Light, to try out for the Broncos on Tuesday, signed with the team Aug. 28, but was waived four days later in the team’s first round of roster cuts.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound rookie recorded 177 receptions for 1,494 yards and nine touchdowns during his four seasons at Fordham University. But his draft stock fell after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in November 2014 and he went undrafted.

He later earned a tryout with the Chiefs before signing with the Broncos in late August, when the team waived receiver Solomon Patton.

Among the 15 other players the Broncos worked out Tuesday were receiver Levi Norwood, the brother of current Broncos receiver Jordan Norwood, and former Northern Colorado standout Seth Lobato. The full 16:
