The Colorado High School Coaches Association on Thursday announced its 53rd class for the Hall of Fame.
Those selected were Ed Eastin, Peter Horvath, Tim Ottmann, Sam Pagano, Kent Smith and Manny Wasinger.
• Eastin was a boys track coach for 23 years and also coached football for 40 years during his time at Caliche and Roosevelt High Schools.
• Horvath coach boys and girls soccer from 1983-2008 at Columbine.
• Ottmann coached wrestling at Ponderosa High School, winning eight state team titles, and currently is the school’s athletic director.
• Pagano coached football at Fairview in Boulder, compiling a 164-58-4 record and three state titles from 1969-90.
• Smith coached basketball at Boulder High from 1971-82, winning two state titles. He also won a state title in 1988 with Ponderosa.
• Wasinger coached football at Alamosa from 1985-2007, winning two state titles. He currently coaches at Monte Vista. He has a 212-87 overall record in 26 seasons.
The induction ceremony will be held April 2, 2016 at the Radisson Hotel Denver Southeast in Aurora.
