If the no-fly list is unconstitutional because of its lack of due process, I wonder why the right is not defending that right.
Letap fix the due process — common sense says people we determine are potentially too dangerous to be on a plane should also be deemed too dangerous to walk into a store and buy weapons of mass destruction. I agree a court is the ultimate determinant of constitutional rights, but how does it get adjudicated if there are no restrictions placed in the first place?
I only ask the following: If a person on the no-fly list bought 10 assault rifles and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, boarded an Amtrak and killed many people, how stupid would/should we feel as a society?
