Logan County authorities last week arrested a husband and wife on suspicion of first-degree murder in the case of a .
Dezerae Riemenshcneider, 27, and Vernon Riemenshcneider, 34, were being held without bond. Both are also suspected of tampering with evidence in the case.
The remains of 29-year-old Kshena C. Andersen were found north of Sterling on Dec. 13 near Logan County Road 34, according to the county sheriff’s office.
Investigators say Andersen had been shot several times.
Lt. Joe McBride with the sheriff’s office said Andersen had been living in Sterling, but investigators are looking into her history.
