Aurora police announced Saturday night that officers had arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting late on Christmas.

The shooting happened about 9:45 p.m. at 20157 E. Dartmouth Drive, where officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Investigators say he was taken to a hospital where he died.

Authorities say they believe the shooting was precipitated by an argument between the man and Phi Pham, 33, who was arrested Saturday night.

Police say the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will identify the man who was killed killed.

Police are asking anyone with information about this case to call Agent Warren Miller with the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit at 303-739-6117.

Tipsters can also call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. By calling Crime Stoppers tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
