Regular Steal This Track readers will remember a recent post on Plum and the blossoming in Denver. Well, if you’re making a list of Denver psychedelic rock bands, here’s one to add: .

The band is comprised of college students who release music and play shows as their schedules allow. But what they have done, though limited, is well worth noting. The previous two singles were produced by / frontman Eric Halborg and show a band in love with shoegazing power pop. “However, The Baltic now seeks to discover the world of psychedelia,” as the bio on their website puts it.

For this new direction, the band, which formed while three members were still in high school, has enlisted the production guidance of Plum’s Kyle Emerson Miller. The band is currently working on an EP with Miller, and set to release the first single at on Jan. 1. But you cans steal it now, only in Steal This Track.

Please note that downloads offered via Steal This Track are intended to whet your appetite, and are NOT CD-quality recordings. If you want those, please support the artists by buying their music and/or seeing them live.

If you’re a Colorado band or musician ready to expose your fresh sounds to the readers of Reverb, email your tracks — along with any interesting facts about them, as well as a photo or album art — to Steal This Track for consideration. We only feature tracks not available for free elsewhere.
