A 51-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after police suspect he accidentally fired his gun through the wall of his home, wounding his neighbor.
Frank Dawkins told police he was cleaning his gun around 10 p.m. at his home on the 2600 block of Avalanche Heights, when it misfired, according to Colorado Springs police.
The bullet went through a wall separating his home from his neighbor’s residence, hitting someone sitting on a couch next door, police said.
