
1 Pill pillage. A couple called police to their home in the 9100 block of Fontaine Street, Federal Heights, because someone broke into their home Jan. 23 and stole several types or prescription pain killers. The victims said their neighbors know about the drugs and often ask for them.
2 Flooded apartment. A resident of an apartment complex in the 12100 block of Race Street, Northglenn, complained that her unit flooded Feb. 11. The property manager discovered that the former tenant above her stole the washer and dryer and didn’t turn off the water valve.
3 Smoking and swerving. A man was arrested at the intersection of Huron Street and Naiad Drive in Northglenn for driving drunk and stoned Feb. 19. The officer pulled the suspect over because he swerved into a curb and there was smoke inside the car.
4 Drunk shoplifting. The manager of the Dollar Tree at 1407 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights, reported Jan. 27 that she tried to stop a shoplifter but the suspect pushed her and called her names. Police found the drunken suspect in a nearby parking lot and arrested her.
5 Belligerent threats. A drunken man was arrested in the 7200 block of Monaco Street, Commerce City, after telling officers he had a gun and threatening to kill them Feb. 16. After several profane threats, the man was placed on a mental health hold.
6 Welcome party. A woman who just moved into the 1700 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights, called police because someone slashed two of her tires Jan. 27.
