Lakewood police detectives will continue questioning a 15-year-old girl who became the focus of a before she called police from a Walmart Supercenter, police spokesman Steve Davis said.

The girl, who police also questioned on Monday, has told police that she was abducted from in front of her residence.

She described her kidnapper only as a male in his 20s or 30s dressed entirely in black. She didn’t report, or describe, any vehicle the alleged kidnapper may have used.

The girl called police at 12:41 p.m., after she was missing for more than five hours, and told them she was at the Walmart at 440 Wadsworth Blvd.

Detectives ask anyone with information that would assist them in their investigation to call the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111.
