Pueblo police released photographs Monday of a man who they say pepper-sprayed a Best Buy employee as part of a grab-and-dash robbery of electronic equipment.

Police hope photos of the suspect and a suspect vehicle help lead to an arrest in the case.

The incident happened about 3:40 p.m. Sunday at the Best Buy at 5890 N. Elizabeth St., according to a Pueblo Police Department news release.

Police said a man entered the store, placed electronic equipment in a shopping cart and went to the exit, where he pepper-sprayed an employee in the face. The robber left the store and placed the stolen items in a car that pulled up as he exited.

The vehicle is described as a 2008 to 2010 gold Pontiac Grand Am, four-door with dark-tinted windows, and black and silver tire rims with low-profile tires. The Pontiac has a spoiler with a built-in third brake light. The car did not have front or rear license plates at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the robbery, or who recognizes the man or the vehicle, is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867 or leave a tip online at .
