Jaime Molina is one of the more successful artists in Colorado these days, but he got his start, back in the 1990s, showing in the annual Jefferson Foundation High School Art Exhibition at the Arvada Center. Interestingly, the center is taking him back to his roots, hosting a solo exhibition of Molina’s recent work at the same time that it show’s this year’s version of the high school event. Molina makes different kinds of art, from murals to 3-D objects, often incorporating traditional folk images and techniques into his work. Through May 8.
