University of Denver campus leaders and community groups will discuss affecting political change in issues of race, religion, and sexuality Thursday at 7 p.m. at the university’s Sturm Hall.

The forum, called “More than a Stereotype,” is co-hosted by , a nonpartisan group that engages students in public policy discussion, and .

The forum will include a panel of students and elected officials answering questions and discussing race, religion, and sexuality.

The panelists will be Dilpreet Jammu of , state Rep. Dominick Moreno of Commerce City, Ismail Akbulut of the , DU graduate Eric Plascencia and DU undergraduate Tashan Montgomery.

The event is free, but those planning to attend should RSVP to Olivia Hayes at olivia.hayes@du.edu or 970-355-4899.

Sturm Hall is located at 2000 East Asbury Ave. in Denver. The forum is in the hall’s Lindsay Auditorium.
