A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle crash at a Denver intersection Monday night, according to police.

The motorcycle rider was in very serious condition, according to police.

The collision between the car and motorcycle happened at the intersection of Monaco Street and Alameda Avenue around 10 p.m., said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.

The driver of a small car was cited for careless driving causing serious bodily injury. The motorcycle driver’s name has not been released.

The suspect, a woman, was driving eastbound on Monaco when she turned left into the path of the westbound motorcycle rider, Jackson said.
