A rockfall just before 11 a.m. has closed U.S. 6 in Clear Creek Canyon.
The road is closed in both directions between mile marker 267 and 268.
The Colorado State Patrol said no cars were hit and no one was injured when the rocks fell.
Colorado Department of Transportation officials are working to clear the road, but there is no estimated time for re-opening.
