Once again, Team Colorado is headed to the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Scholastic Duals.
To be held at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., April 13-14, the 17th gathering will involve 18 teams of freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
A year ago, Colorado finished sixth in the folk-style wrestling competition for teams that serves as a showcase in front of college coaches.
This year’s local entries include a three-time state champion, two two-time winners, seven state champions and four runners-up.
The group will be led by coaches Todd Sandman (Mountain Range) and Eddie Soto (Pueblo County) as well as Charlie Pipher, an assistant at Western State,
