An El Paso County teenager has been missing for over a week and police are concerned for her safety.
Jasmine Hart, 15, was last seen about 3:15 p.m. April 5 walking the family dog in the area of Witches Hollow Lane and Garman Drive in Colorado Springs, according to an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office media release.
The dog returned home but Jasmine’s whereabouts are unknown.
Jasmine’s family received information that she may be with “her homeboy,” an unidentified male friend.
Jasmine is described as 5-feet 3-inches tall, about 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts and black “Vans” sneakers. She was wearing two friendship braces on her left wrist and a hospital bracelet on her right wrist. Jasmine has a belly button piercing, a cross scar on her lower left abdomen and large scar on her left thigh.
Investigators are concerned about her health and safety as Jasmine is known to live a “high-risk lifestyle,” according to the release.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 719 390-5555.
