Donald Trump is right. He was cheated. Colorado Republicans were denied the chance to either vote in a primary or to help select their preferred candidate at this year s caucuses. Instead, the politburo of party insiders picked themselves to do the choosing.
This year was the first time I seriously thought of participating in an election as a Republican, but I was denied the chance to do so. I would have supported Trump because of his directness and lack of pretense.

This letter was published in the April 16 edition.Once again Donald Trump and his supporters show their true colors. Trump complains about the Republican caucus and convention process in Colorado when he knew the score from the get-go. Any time he loses, somebody cheated. His demagoguery has emboldened and inflamed his supporters to make death threats on Colorado Republican Party leadership. This man and his fascist-leaning constituency have no place in American politics and especially not in the White House.
