1 Woman moons neighbor. A woman reported at Jefferson County Animal Control, 700 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, that her neighbor “mooned” her April 21. She said she was walking her dog toward her neighbor in Evergreen when the neighbor bent over, exposed her buttocks and said “Did you get a good picture?” The dog-walker was recording video because of an ongoing fued over the other’s dog being unleashed. The neighbor said the mooning was accidental and thus no charges were brought.

2 More dogs, more problems. A resident of the 20000 block of North Turkey Creek Road, Morrison, reported April 17 that her neighbor stole one of her dog’s puppies. The neighbor said he took the puppy because his dog sired the litter. The victim denied that and said she her neighbor could not have a puppy because he does drugs. The puppy was returned and deputies advised the matter would need to be settled in court.

3 Grocery-getter gotten. A man reported April 20 that one of his car’s tires was slashed while in the parking lot of Safeway, 27152 Main St., Conifer. A store employee said tires have been getting slashed in the lot recently. There were no suspects.

4 Mystery can tipper. A resident of the 10000 block of Elk Haven Lane, Conifer, reported April 21 that someone knocked over his recycling bins every day that week, spilling their contents. The resident suspected a neighbor who, when called, was defensive, contending that the bins were routinely on his property. He then hung up on the deputy. The reporting party declined to pursue charges. (Not on map.)
