A man wanted in connection with the Tuesday stabbing death of a man at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Leadville surrendered Saturday at the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew James Haley, 29, is being held without bond on a warrant for first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of Jordan Robert Gausman, 31, of Leadville.
Gausman worked at the Silver Dollar Saloon in Leadville and when their confrontation turned physical.
Haley will be transferred to Lake County to face charges.
