A motorcycle driver was injured Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident in southwest Denver.
The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of South Platte River Drive and West Alameda Avenue, according to Denver police.
The motorcyclist likely suffered a broken leg, a Denver Police Department spokesman said.
The crash snarled rush-hour traffic in the area.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
