Authorities in Pueblo County have arrested three people in connection with  who were conducting a traffic stop.

Candelaria Dedmon, 25, was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular eluding in the case and on an outstanding warrant. Her brother, 19-year-old Daniel Dedmon, was arrested on a bond revocation, the county sheriff’s office said.

Later, after a short, two-block pursuit, police arrested for 36-year-old Joe Gaetano Romero. An arrest warrant had been issued for Romero on the charge of first-degree assault on a peace officer.

Authorities  are still looking for Angelina Padilla, 19, as a person of interest.

The three officers — two sheriff’s deputies and a police officer — were conducting a traffic stop about 3:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Northern Avenue and Beulah Avenue when someone riding in a passing Chevrolet Equinox fired a shot in their direction before speeding off.

No one was injured.

Authorities followed the Chevrolet and found it near the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Jefferson Street in Pueblo County.
