A world leader in mental health is scheduled to speak in Denver next week.
Professor Paul Burstow, former minister of mental health in England, will talk about the United Kingdom’s anti-stigma campaign he created as well as a second campaign recently launched by members of the royal family. The public is welcome at the Monday event for Mental Health Colorado.
Burstow was a member of parliament and minister for care services. He now leads the University of Birmingham’s work on mental health policy.
The event is at 11 a.m. at 789 Sherman St., Denver.
