Vigil to mourn Orlando massacre victims set for 8:30 p.m. at Tracks Denver

A vigil to mourn Sunday morning’s massacre at a gay Florida night club that is set for 8:30 p.m. at Tracks Denver, 3500 Walnut St.

“This senseless act of hate against innocent people is a heartbreaking tragedy for the entire nation,” Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, families and all those affected by this horrific act, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the brave first responders who came to the assistance of all of those in need. Tonight, we will stand together in solidarity with the entire community during this difficult time.”

Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne and Mayor Hancock will join ONE Colorado and the community at a candlelight vigil at  Denver night club to honor the victims of the shooting and encourage the entire Denver community to join the event.
