A minimum custody offender walked away from a warehouse that is owned by the Colorado Department of Corrections around 1:45 p.m. Monday while he was working.

John Nodine, 56, was last seen wearing glasses, green pants and a green DOC shirt with the letters “CCI” embroidered on the front.

Nodine is serving sentences for theft and burglary. He is not considered a threat, but the Department of Corrections is working with state and local law enforcement officials to apprehend Nodine.

Anyone with information about his possible whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.
