Denver police have a man in custody after a 5-hour standoff in the 16199 block of East Green Valley Ranch Boulevard Wednesday.
A domestic dispute led to the barricade situation which began at 3:22 a.m., and the man surrendered at about 7:30 a.m.
The woman victim was outside the apartment, when police arrived, said Eranda Piyasena, police spokesman.
The man was armed, police said, and there were no injuries.
