
John Elway, QB, (inducted 2004)
The Broncos’ first Hall of Fame inductee was a nine-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion who retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in wins (148) among quarterbacks. Elway ranks sixth in career passing yards (51,475), seventh in touchdown passes (300), and first in fourth-quarter or overtime game-winning or game-tying drives (47).
Gary Zimmerman, OT (2008)
Zimmerman played five seasons in Denver (1993-97) and helped the Broncos to their first Super Bowl championship, in Super Bowl XXXII. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection started all 184 career games played and was named to two NFL all-decade teams (1980s, ’90s).
Floyd Little, RB (2010)
“The Franchise” played his entire career (1967-75) with the Broncos and retired ranked seventh in career rushing yards (6,323) and eighth in combined rushing and receiving yards (12,173). Little led the Broncos in rushing for a team record seven consecutive seasons (1967-73).
Shannon Sharpe, TE (2011)
Sharpe played 12 seasons with the Broncos (1990-99, 2002-03) and two with the Ravens (2000-01), winning three Super Bowls and retiring as the league’s all-time leader in receptions (815), receiving yards (10,060) and receiving TDs (62) by a tight end.
