Arvada police have released the name of a man allegedly last month .

Garrett Brown, 36, . He is suspected of first-degree attempted criminal trespass of a dwelling and attempted criminal invasion of privacy, police say.

Arvada police say they will present the case to the Jefferson County district attorney.

Officers were called to a home on the 17000 block of West 87th Avenue on Aug. 7 after a man reported that he had video of a stranger looking into the bedroom window of his teen daughter.

Police say surveillance聽footage released to the public was shared thousands of times and tips from its聽release led to Brown’s arrest.
