Two Colorado high school football powerhouses are set to battle in the 5A quarterfinals, as No. 2 Mullen (9-2) hosts No. 7 Cherry Creek (8-3) on Friday night at De La Salle Stadium.
Mullen is laden with offensive firepower in quarterback Jovan Tafoya, running back Marcus McElroy and wideout A’Jon Vivens, while Cherry Creek looks to senior Trey Windham to guide the offense against a stout Mustang defense.
