Denver police are investigating a shooting involving a car crash near Federal Blvd. and Kentucky Ave.

A man was shot dead Saturday in an incident that also included a two-car crash, Denver police said.
Officers initially responded to a report of a crash with serious bodily injury in the 3100 block of West Kentucky Avenue, near Hazel Court, then discovered that a person in one of the vehicles potentially had been shot.
The Denver Police Department announced in a tweet about 4 p.m. that the man had died of gunshot wounds and that DPD had launched a death investigation.
No further details were immediately available.
