A Ponderosa High School campus security specialist is suspected of sexually assaulting a student.
Gary Postell, 49, of Castle Rock was arrested Monday on allegations of assaulting a student at the school, 7007 Bayou Gulch Road in Parker, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators interviewed the student Monday afternoon and “determined that there was enough probable cause to make an arrest,” the sheriff’s office said.
Postell was taken into custody at his home and booked into the Douglas County jail on suspicion of sex assault on a child by one in a position of trust. Bail was set at $5,000.
