
A Pueblo man in November before turning the gun on himself has been released from a hospital and arrested.
Mauro Hernandez, 56, is suspected of two counts of attempted first-degree murder and domestic violence in the Nov. 30 shootings.He is being held without bail in Denver, where he was released from medical care on Monday.
Hernandez’s estranged wife and her male friend have also been released from medical care, Pueblo police said Wednesday.
The shooting happened about 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 30 on the 1600 block of East 4th Street where responding officers found all three with gunshot wounds. The former couple were taken to a Denver-area hospital for treatment, while the male friend was rushed to a Pueblo hospital for medical care.
