A police dog helped officers capture a wanted fugitive Monday evening, police say.
At about 5 p.m. Monday, officers tracked Anthony Vigil, who was wanted for escape, to 2129 Delta Drive at the Whitney Young Manor Apartments. After getting permission to enter an apartment, officers say they issued two warnings to Vigil that they would use a police dog to find him. He did not surrender.
