A man grabbed the sweatshirt hood an 11-year-old who was taking part in cross country practice in Castle Rock.
The incident happened about 4:15 p.m. Monday near Aspen View Academy, 2131 Low Meadow Blvd., police said Wednesday.
The girl was running on Red Hawk Drive when a man grabbed her hood. She was able to get away and return to school.
Police describe the suspect as a bald white man, about 40, with no facial hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
