An Arvada man has been charged with multiple felonies, including vehicular homicide DUI, in the death of a pedestrian.

Troy Steven Glassford, 39, is also charged with vehicular homicide reckless, DUI, reckless driving, and driving on a sidewalk in the death of 43-year-old Nathan Osburn, according to the Jefferson County district attorney’s office.

Officers were called Jan. 10 to the area of Pomona and Quay drives on a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. Officers determined that Glassford had been driving east on Pomona when his vehicle left the roadway, crashed through a fence and a shed, running over Osburn, the DA’s office said.

Glassford was arrested Jan. 10. He is free on $20,000 bail. The defendant has until Jan. 25 to schedule a preliminary hearing.
