Re: ” ‘A matter of frustration’ led most of the National Park System Advisory Board to resign,” Jan. 17 news story.
Congratulations to Todd Willens, Interior Department associate deputy secretary, for winning the Most Caustic Acceptance Letter Ever Award with his tart and insulting snipe at those resigning from the National Park System Advisory Board, which has worked for the betterment of our public lands, parks and monuments. He must surely believe with great fervor that his boss, Secretary Ryan Zinke, will be pleased. It is no surprise that the administration of national parks and our public lands is now falling to boards largely made up of park concessionaires and “members of the RV and boating industries,” all of whom must be salivating.
