President Donald Trump just signed a budget bill that he said he despised. Mostly he was angered by lack of funding for his border wall with Mexico.
But why should Congress put up a penny for that wall? In his campaign speeches, and even after his election, Trump said Mexico will pay for the wall.
Well, Mr. President: put up or shut up! Why have you switched from promising that Mexico will pay for the wall to your anger with Congress for failing to pay for the wall? You told us you know how to make a deal. You told us we’d get tired of winning so often. What happened? By any chance, did you paint yourself into a corner?
