The Denver Nuggets came up short against the Minnesota Timberwolves and will be watching the playoffs from home after falling in overtime 112-106. With the loss, the Nuggets will get back to the drawing board during the offseason to build on what some will consider a successful season.

It isn’t all bad for Colorado fans, though, as the Avalanche is still in the NHL playoffs. The Avs take on the Predators in the first round of the postseason tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Nashville.

Sports fans around town are also excited about what is happening around 20th and Blake this year as the Rockies have their eyes set on making the postseason in back-to-back years. It’s going to be a fun summer around Denver with the men in purple pin stripes.

Also, fans need to remember that we live in apountry and there is going to be plenty of Broncos news to discuss. Next up for John Elway and company is the NFL draft. Who do you see the Broncos selecting on April 26?

See Denver fans, even though the Nuggets’ loss stings right now, the fans around town still have a lot to look forward to in the world of sports for months to come.
