A former Jefferson Junior High School teacher’s aide accused of having sex with one of her 14-year-old students was found guilty Wednesday on all counts by a Weld County jury.

Jerica Enriquez, 26, faced two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, as well as one count each of sexual assault on a child and promotion of obscenity to a minor, all felonies. After Weld District Court Judge Shannon Lyons read the verdict, Enriquez was taken into custody without bond.

Because of a sentencing enhancer, Enriquez faces 12 years to life in prison. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in Weld District Court.
