It’s getting hotter in Colorado. Here are some places to stay cool with river surfing and other water sports.

It’s hot. Not just hot, it’s the-thermometer-maxes-out-at-88-degrees-today hot.

A glance at this week’s forecast is enough to make anyone sweat as the highs Thursday and Friday are expected to be in the lower 90s, according to the National Weather Service.

What do Coloradans do when it’s ridiculously hot? Jump in the water. Just take a look at all the people who went Colorado surfing, a.k.a. river surfing, on Tuesday.

Looking for fun water activities to dive into? We’ve got you.

First, we’ve got a where you can either boogie board, river surf, tube or water ski.

Hopefully, you’re not trying to go swimming at Chatfield State Park because, well, you can’t. It’s closed for the summer because of a construction project. But don’t worry, there are you should check out.
