Broncos OTAs wrap up today, so I thought it would be a good time to look back at what we’ve learned about this team over the past three weeks.
— First-round draft pick Bradley Chubb might need some time to adapt to linebacker in the NFL.
— Isaiah McKenzie knows just how bad he was at returning punts last year, and he could be replaced there by CU’s Philip Lindsay.
— Rookie running back Royce Freeman is no stranger to carrying a big load and likely will this season.
— DT and Case Keenum have a groove going.
— Jake Butt looks to put an end to the Broncos’ run of ineffectiveness at tight end.
— The Shane Ray saga in Denver looks to be heading toward a disappointing end as he’s about to miss extended time — again — with wrist issues.
— Speaking of Ray, the Broncos declined his fifth-year option.
— The Broncos still don’t know what they’re going to do at right guard.
— Ownership situation is quickly turning into a war of words.
Have a great weekend.
