The Parker Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with a May 22 shooting at Parker Road and Crown Crest Boulevard, according to the department’s .

Abraham Paquet was arrested and faces several charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, assault extreme indifference, illegal discharge of a firearm and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, according to police.

Paquet allegedly drove a truck up next to the car of the victim on the E-470 exit ramp at Parker Road during the evening rush hour. Several shots were allegedly fired at the victim’s car and the driver was struck once.

“,” said Rob Rowland, the victim, . “I kept thinking back to what happened and couldn’t remember anything that would have led to road rage.”

Rowland said one of the three bullets struck his left hand.

“I didn’t know what had happened,” he said, “I was shocked.”

Police have also recommended charges against Tara Doxtater, who was allegedly in the vehicle with Paquet.

Paquet and Doxtater are in custody.

“We would like to thank Parker residents and businesses that assisted us in locating these suspects enabling us to file charges,” police wrote.
