Louisville police have issued an arrest warrant for the man who was shot by an officer last month while allegedly trying to escape in a pickup truck.

Nicholas Moses, 25, will face charges of felony menacing, criminal mischief, obstructing a police officer, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving under revocation and drug possession.

Moses’s father, John, who was a passenger in the vehicle, also faces two drug-possession charges.

Both men already are in custody at the Jefferson County Detention Center on unrelated warrants. The younger Moses’s warrant carries a $25,000 bond, while his father is being held on $10,000 bond, according to the Louisville Police Department.

Court dates will be set once the two are formally booked on the new charges.
