A Lakewood motorcycle officer was seriously injured in a car crash Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision, authorities say.
A person in one of the other vehicles was also taken to a hospital.
“Your prayers are appreciated,” Lakewood police tweeted at 2:01 p.m.
The collision happened at the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Vance Street.
West Colfax is shut down in both directions between Wadsworth Boulevard and Teller Street.
