Police suspect the same man, dubbed the “Hat Trick Bandit,” of robbing three banks in the south Denver metro.

The armed bank robber, who wears a baseball cap and dark glasses, points a silver, semi-automatic hand gun at tellers as seen in surveillance photos released Tuesday.

On Tuesday he robbed a U.S. Bank, 101 Englewood Parkway, in Englwood, police said. Investigators suspect the same man, on June 22, of robbing a Great Western Bank, 200 West Littleton Blvd., in Littleton. He’s suspected of robbing the same Littleton bank July 27.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man, between the ages of 40 and 50, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the robberies or on a suspect is asked to call police at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
