Watch Olympic snowboarders, bluegrass and experimental bands for free in Vail this month

The annual snowboarding competition announced its musical lineup Monday for its free four-night concert series in Vail at the end of February.

This year’s bands include eclectic and experimental band tUnE-yArDs, Michigan’s Greensky Bluegrass, the Texas trio Khruangbin and Brooklyn-based Turkuaz.

The concert series starts Wednesday, Feb. 27, and run through Saturday, March 2.

The annual Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, now in their 37th year, is free and open to the public. Athletes who will be competing this year include Jamie Anderson, Chloe Kim, Red Gerard and Mark McMorris.
