Smash-and-grab robbers hit Southwest Plaza in Littleton early Friday morning, shattering a glass entryway door and moving onto a jewelry display of a department store, stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise.
Two brazen burglars struck at about 3 a.m., swiping jewelery from J.C. Penney, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., including just under 100 gold chains, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
