A man shot by Loveland police during a Monday armed robbery is expected to survive his injuries, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
A Loveland officer fire upon the man just after 4:41 p.m. Monday, when multiple 911 callers reported an armed robbery at Subway, 256 E. 29th St., according to a Monday evening release from Loveland Police spokesman Jan Burreson. In the release, Burreson said witnesses reported the man had run from the store.
Police spotted a man matching the description of the robber near the intersection of North Monroe Avenue and East 29th Street, where an officer opened fire.
