None of Colorado’s four Division I college football programs earned a bowl berth in 2018. And 2019 may not be much better, according to one oddsmaker.
The line for Air Force is 6.5 wins, according to betonline.ag, which would make the Falcons bowl eligible. The odds weren’t so kind to the other Centennial State teams as Colorado’s was 4.5 wins and Colorado State’s was 3.5.
The Buffaloes have had the roughest drought, earning just one bowl bid (2016 to the Alamo Bowl) in the last 11 seasons. The Rams made five straight appearances, from 2013-17, before missing out in 2018. The Falcons have been the most steady, earning nine berths in head coach Troy Calhoun’s 12 seasons.
In case you’re wondering, Northern Colorado, which plays in Division I FCS, had no line.
