A man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic wreck Saturday afternoon near Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Commerce City police said.
A GMC van was eastbound on Prairie Parkway when it collided with a Ford Fusion that was turning left from Victory Way. The adult male driver of the Ford died, police said, and a woman and two children in the Ford were extracted and taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Two men in the van also were taken to a hospital with injuries that police described as not life-threatening.
No other information, including the names and ages of those involved, were available.
Police did not known if alcohol played a role in the collision.
